"Fang Yuan" (Square & Circle) is a type experiment exploring the relationship between the golden ratio and typography. In this project, I set a rule: only golden ratio-based perfect circles can be used to carve into the letterforms. The thickness, length, and structure of the characters remain flexible, allowing for future transformation and variation. To ensure legibility, I chose basic Arabic numerals as the foundation of this experiment.
